Summer is fast approaching and we will have several weeks off. Try encouraging your child(ren) to break out their sketch book in between cannon balling into pools and enjoying ice cream treats this summer. I like to think "Practice makes Better...." no one's perfect! Some simple activities to do in the sketchbook range from drawing what they see, be it fruit on the table or their brother playing a video game, all the way to creating characters for a story from their own mind.
